The use of Bar Coding offers a host of advantages when processing Boxes and inventory. Being able to quickly put new boxes and inventory away and then uploading this information to the computer is very important for your easy access.

As a client you also have the option of doing your own data entry. Pouch will provide the software, which allows you to enter your own Box and File information (onto floppy diskette).

This barcoding not only eliminates human error but also through the Client Software can eliminate costs.

The way this software works, is first the shelf is scanned by the portable scanner and then the box label is scanned which reads the client number, the box number and the department number.

Each file may also have its own barcode if your boxes are indexed.

These labels for files, boxes or inventory can be preprinted so your company can have these on hand so when a box is ready to go offsite it is easy to label, write up and send offsite. These labels can be printed in quantities of your choosing. The computer automatically selects the beginning Assigned Box Number from the "counter" being used for the purpose as to incremented by one for each Client Box Label so to stop any errors of doubled box numbers.

Boxes and inventory being returned to POUCH RECORDS MANAGEMENT are also scanned to give the box/inventory a Returned Status. The scanner will download the new location for this box. This eliminates labor and inturn decreases errors as well as turn around time.
